In their heart-to-heart talk together, Zen Master Nissim Amon shares from his experience searching for a higher awareness after serving in the IDF and experiencing the horrors of war. He traveled abroad, found Buddhism, and trained with the Korean Zen Master Seung Sahn and Japanese Soto Zen Master G.W. Nishijim. He became a Dharma teacher, and after fifteen years was inaugurated by his Zen Master to become a Zen teacher. Intrigued by Osho\u2019s teaching, Zen Master Nissim Amon travelled to India to teach at the Osho Center in Pune. His experience there led him to realize that Zen mediation must be coupled by a deeper treatment of emotional issues too, so that personal progress is not hindered by emotional blockage. Upon his return to Israel, he found a way to combine emotional treatment with Zen meditation, to create the emotional cleanse people need that clears-up room within them for inner peace, love, and light. \u201cBasic traumas, have to be digested, to be faced, and once you do that the rest is like cleaning dishes in the sink,\u201d he says, and adds, \u201c\u2026within us is the head, the heart, and me\u2026 you have to understand the inner split and the bad relationship and the bad dream that people live in.\u201d Only then can mediation be taken as a remedy. He emphasizes the words of Shari, \u201cPeace begins within me,\u201d as the most important for each of us, because that is the true quest in all our lives \u2013 to find our inner awakening. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Returning to Israel, he founded the Class for Higher Consciousness. He opened the Tao\u2019s meditation retreat in the Greek Island of Paros, and today he heads the School of Trilotherapy that operates as a center for personal development.
